Directions to Main Campus

The Testing Center provides proctored testing services for students enrolled in the College's distance education courses.

Testing Information for Students

• No test will be issued within 30 minutes of the Testing Center's closing time (see schedule below). Students must arrive with plenty of time to complete a test prior to closing, according to the time limit set by the instructor.

• Do not bring children with you to the Testing Center. Children may not wait unattended in the hallway or in any other area of the College while you take a test.

• Present a valid student identification card, driver’s license, or passport to receive your test.

• Computer Tests: Call 919-866-5615 to make an appointment to take a test by computer. During peak testing periods, seating is limited.

• Traditional Tests: No appointment is necessary. See schedule below.

• Make-up Tests: Call 919-866-5615 before you drive to the main campus to make sure your test is available.

• Do not wait until the last hour of the last day to take a test. When you arrive, the Testing Center may be filled to capacity.

• Be prepared. Bring pencils (No. 2), pens, and other items such as a calculator or reference materials that may be required or permitted by your instructor.

• Be aware of the passage of time while you are taking a test. The proctor will not warn you when your time is running short.

• Cell phone and iPod use is prohibited.
